1989年8月7日出生於美國加利福尼亞州康普頓，在2009年NBA選秀中德羅讚於首輪第9順位被猛龍隊選中，2024年7月加盟國王隊。職業生涯至今德羅讚先後效力於猛龍、馬刺、公牛和國王隊。德羅讚於2016-17賽季入選最佳陣容三陣，2017-18賽季入選最佳陣容二陣，2021-22賽季入選最佳陣容二陣，6次入選全明星陣容。

國家隊方麵，德羅讚於2014年隨美國國家隊奪得男籃世界杯冠軍，2016年又隨美國隊奪得裏約奧運會男籃冠軍。

德羅讚上賽季代表公牛出戰79場，場均貢獻24分4.3籃板5.3助攻1.1搶斷，投籃命中率48%，三分命中率33.3%，罰球命中率85.3%。
